A garage that shows you the problem
PitStop Garage MK is an independent workshop on Tavistock Street in Fenny Stratford. Most of what comes through the door is engine and running gear: timing chains, water pumps, oil pumps, cooling leaks and the faults other places would rather not open up.
We would rather spend an hour finding the real cause than an afternoon replacing parts that were never broken.

Mechanical work, start to finish

Engine and timing
Timing chains, oil pumps and water pumps, done in house. These are the jobs that take a bay for a day or more, and they are the ones we do most.
Servicing and oil
Oil and filter changes, fluids, and the checks that go with them. If something looks close to failing we tell you now rather than after it has.
Cooling and leaks
Antifreeze and coolant leaks traced back to the part that is actually failing, not to the first wet hose we find.
Ignition and starting
Spark plugs, coils and the faults that leave you turning the key twice on a cold morning.
Diagnostics
A code is a starting point, not an answer. We read it, then we check the part before anyone spends money on it.
